VSM at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN

Compared to conventional ceramic grain abrasives, the VSM CERAMICS Plus series feature an improved self-sharpening effect when machining a wide range of different metals and metallic alloys. The unique microcrystalline structure of the grains accounts for a much more subtle breaking down and produces much sharper edges. This in turn leads to maximum stock removal and a significantly increased service life.
Visitors could experience the new VSM CERAMICS Plus Fibre disc XF885 for maximum stock removal live in action on the VSM stand, and were able to see for themselves its aggressive but cool cutting behaviour.
In addition to the VSM CERAMICS series, VSM ALUMINIUM OXIDE, VSM CIRCONIA ALUMINA and VSM fleece products were also on display.

As well as displaying a wide variety of products, another highlight, the unique VSM grinding wheel, was also on display. Visitors had the opportunity to initiate a grinding process relying solely on their elbow grease to test VSM’s abrasive VSM CERAMICS Plus XK885Y.
